So sorry I missed you all yesterday, I had some catching up to do behind the scenes as we are going away soon so didn't get to do a post, hopefully this one will make up for it though. Over at Whiff of Joy Challenge blog the challenge we have for you this week is 'piercing' I have cheated a bit on mine and have done it on my sewing machine with no thread in it, I think you get a much neater finish that way rather than doing it all by hand. I have followed the lovely sketch over at Friday Sketchers for this card so am entering it for their challenge too.
I have used the wonderful WOJ Wedding Carriage stamp which was a dream to colour, I have added some flowersoft to the back of it as I think that looks nicer than just the coloured foliage, it ia hard to capture it in a photo, but trust me, it is really nice. I have added a ' best wishes' sentiment on the panel at the back of the carriage as it looked a little plain without it.
I have finished off with some cherry blossoms mounted onto some prima flowers and added my fave quickutz swirls, the ' cherish' and ' forever' sentiments were already printed on the paper so I did not add anything else as I felt it wasn't needed. I think the paper is Craft Creations but I am not positive.
