Well, today was the day my children went back to school, just a shame that i have had to go to work all day, so no crafting for me, I wanted to share this card with you that I made last night, it is for the Penny Black saturday Challenge where this week it is Christmas............. I just love this image and thought it went well with soft modern Christmas colours. I have used my Copics as per usual, and some stickles on the scarf and hat, and white gel pen to hilight.
The papers are DCWV Luxury Stack - pearlescent. The ' snow ' on the centre strip has been embossed with a cuttlebug folder, and the sweet little sentiment is from Elzybelles. I have finished it off with a few tiny peel-off snowflakes.
Laslty I just wanted to share this picure of my lovely children all ready for ' the off ' this morning, they looked so smart and soooooooooo happy to be going back, such a relief, it brings a tear to my eye every time, how soppy am I lol ?

Hi Claire, gorgeous card, Very soft and pretty, i love those penny black christmas stamps. My little ones dont go back until the 7th and i have to say im quite looking forward to it lol. I think 6 weeks off is too long and they are now bored and annoying each other continuously .. not that thats unusual its just worse than normal lol. They cant wait to see their friends again and i am looking forward to some extra crafting time during the day :)
